Jennifer Phelps founded Engage Behavioral Health in 2008 and Learning for Life Academy in 2012, as CEO and founder, she specializes in the assessment and treatment of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disabilities. Over the past decade, Jennifer has turned her passion to help children and families into asuccessful company that has helped thousands of children. Engage has six clinics in Florida and Virginia, over 150 employees and has been on the Inc 5000 list three years in a row.
Jennifer obtained her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida State University and found her passion for helping children at a young age. At age 12, she began working with individuals with disabilities and drew the floor plan for the clinic she hoped to open. When she was a teenager, Phelps read Catherine Maurice’s “Let Me Hear Your Voice” and it was this and a family member that motivated her to dedicate herself to helping those with developmental disabilities.
In June 2019 Jennifer partnered with Invo Health Care. Engage Behavioral Health isnow an Invo Health Care Company. Jennifer is continuing her passion for Applied Behavior Analysis and helping others as the Co-Founder and CEO of Prospr. Jennifer enjoys giving back to her community and helping others become an entrepreneur. She sits on the board of The Glazer’s Children Museum and Shorecrest Preparatory School.
Jennifer has been named Tampa Bay Business Journal 2017 Businesswoman of the Year finalist, is a Founding member of St. Petersburg KNOW Tribe, has been featured as a Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine’s Extraordinary Women and in Best of the Bay St. Petersburg/Clearwater. Jennifer has also presented on being an entrepreneur and CEO at Florida State University, University of South Florida, SharpHeels, and TBBJ Elite Young Professionals.
