Jennifer Phelps, BCBA
Co-Founder / CEO
Jennifer wants to live in a world filled with innovative businesses that provide compassionate care and work environments where employees thrive. This passion is fueled by a love for coffee and a fantastic squad of individuals with a shared vision.
As a board-certified behavior analyst and serial entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience, she has started and sold multiple companies and been an adviser to others. Jennifer thrives when consulting with behavioral health companies and private schools. She believes that the best way for her to create an impact in our communities is to help other businesses and employees live their true vision, increase their revenue through “QUALITY CARE,” and make a significant impact in the lives of others.
Jennifer obtained her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida State University and found her passion for helping children at a young age. At age 12, she began working with individuals with disabilities and drew the floor plan for the clinic she hoped to open. When she was a teenager, Jennifer read Catherine Maurice’s “Let Me Hear Your Voice,” and it was this and a family member that motivated her to dedicate herself to helping those with developmental disabilities. Over the past decade, Jennifer has turned her passion for helping children and families into successful companies that have helped thousands of children. Her last company had six clinics locations and has been on the Inc 5000 list for three consecutive years.
Jennifer enjoys giving back to her community and helping others. She sits on multiple not-for-profit boards for organizations dedicated to helping children and the elderly. Jennifer has been named Tampa Bay Business Journal 2017 Businesswoman of the Year finalist, is a Founding member of St. Petersburg KNOW Tribe, has been featured as a Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine’s Extraordinary Women and in Best of the Bay St. Petersburg/Clearwater. Jennifer has also presented as an entrepreneur and CEO at Florida State University, University of South Florida, SharpHeels, and TBBJ Elite Young Professionals.
When she’s not consulting with others or flushing out a new business idea, you can find her baking a delicious gluten-free treat with her daughter, hanging out at the barn with the family pony, Lily, or kicking the soccer ball in the yard with her son.
